 Dual Enrollment Particulars

Dual Enrollment is a program whereby students enrolled in at least the ninth grade in high school and who are capable of performing college level academic tasks are able to enroll in college classes, earning both high school and college credit.

Dual enrollment courses are available through Hobe Sound Bible College as well as Indian River State College (IRSC)

At Hobe Sound Bible College, tuition is charged at the regular college rate.  For more information, call the college.

Student must be in the 9th grade and socially mature enough to work independently in college level courses.

Dual enrollment students must maintain a minimum unweighted overall GPA of 3.0.

Dual enrollment students must maintain a minimum IRSC GPA of 2.0.  If a 2.0 GPA is not maintained, the student will have a one-semester probation where the student is not allowed to dual enroll.  After the probation period has passed, the student may dual enroll but must improve their IRSC GPA significantly, as determined by Olivet's Dual Enrollment Advisor, by the end of their first semester back after their probation period.  Their IRSC GPA must be a minimum of 2.0 within 2 semesters of their probation or they will again be placed on probation.
